The system is committed to providing a complete set of solutions of 2D drawing output for 3D plant design software, whether it is PDMS, SmartPlant3D, E3D, CADWorx or AutoCAD Plant3D, it can perfectly support. The system can automatically output the drawings required for construction, and can output multiple reports simultaneously as well as various information providig condition diagrams, which can reduce the workload of manual labeling in the later stage, greatly improving the work efficiency of completion of the design drawings, and ensuring that the style of drawings remains consistent.

eZOrtho supports: E3D, PDMS, SP3D, Plant3D and CADWorx.

 

Automatic generation of 2D floor plans

 

Users directly read the graphics and attribute data of the 3D model, and the system will automatically generate a 2D floor plan with dimensions labeling and engineering attributes labeling(pipeline number, equipment tag number, valve number, etc.). Users can also control the generation of equipment tables, nozzle tables, valve tables, pipeline tables, bracket tables, pipe pier tables, instrument tables, etc.within the diagram.

 

 

Cutting in 3D Space

 

When reading the 3D model, the user can freely define the sectioning area of the space, and all objects in the area (including equipment, pipelines, steel structures, and civil foundations, etc.) will be correctly represented in the automatically generated floor plan. (please refer to figure 1)

 

Multiple Representations of Pipelines

 

The user can freely set the expression of the pipeline:

Single-line: All pipelines are represented by single-line, and valves can be replaced by logical symbols;

Double-line: All pipelines are represented by double-line; and valves can be replaced by logical symbols;

Hybrid of single-line and double-line: The user can set a size limit. And the pipelines larger than or equal to the size are represented by double-line; the pipelines smaller than the size are represented by single-line. (please refer to figure 2)

 

Automatically optimize annotation space

 

When performing dimensioning and project attribute labeling, the system uses proprietary calculation rules to automatically search for free space and automatically avoid overlapping and interference between labels.

 

 

Manual Labeling Editor

 

For the generated floor plan drawings, users can make simple edits and modifications through the labeling editor, such as adding flow direction to pipelines, adding pipeline table labeling, inserting and merging dimension labeling, and annotating component attributes, etc. Users can customize a variety of styles to suit labeling needs.

 

 

Update

 

When the model changes, the marked drawings can be updated through the "Update" button on the interface. For the previous labeling information, it will continue to be retained after the update, avoiding re-adjusting the labeling, and reducing the workload of users.

 

 

eZOrtho can not only output ordinary pipeline layout drawings, but also output equipment arrangement drawings, nozzle arrangement drawings, instrument arrangement drawings, and HVAC arrangement drawings (PDMS version & E3D version). In addition to completing and labeling various orthographic views, it is also possible to complete and label axonometric views.

Remarks: eZOrtho can also customize and output details of supports & hangers and bridge arrangement drawings; and the software can also be used as a reverse information providing tool to provide information to various disciplines.
